Canada’s foundation is rooted in the diversity of its people, encompassing individuals from all walks of life, backgrounds, and experiences. Canadians of Asian heritage, who have a rich history ingrained in the very essence of the country, make significant contributions to Canada’s growth and prosperity. May is designated as Asian Heritage Month in Canada, providing a time to reflect on and acknowledge the invaluable contributions of Canadians of Asian heritage both past and present. Since the 1990s, Canada has celebrated Asian Heritage Month, with the Government of Canada officially designating May as the month to honor and recognize the contributions of Canadians of Asian heritage in May 2002. Asian Heritage Month provides a unique opportunity for all Canadians to expand their knowledge of the history of Canadians of Asian heritage and celebrate their significant contributions to the progress and prosperity of Canada.

As a brand that believes its product is good for anyone with skin it has always encouraged inclusivity. ​And what is inclusivity without diversity?​So, to celebrate diversity for Asian Heritage Month, Neutrogena looked to its own.To learn from the people that made up their organization; to experience what it feels to be Asian in their own words and through their own experiences that have not only defined them but have also led them to this moment in time.

To promote Asian Heritage Month, we conceptualized and launched an Instagram campaign with Neutrogena employees as the face of the campaign.​The campaign spoke of the personal experiences, memories, and aspirations of Neutrogena’s employees of Asian lineage and heritage. ​The campaign also included the designing of a unique logo that captured perfectly the essence of what it means to be of Asian origin.

Neutrogena invited it’s employees of Asian background to share their experiences based on their heritage and culture, showcasing the vibrant and diverse perspectives of the family The Instagram carousel features captivating stories of personal experiences, heritage, hobbies, authentic Asian cuisine experiences, and the invaluable role of the employees play at Neutrogena.Each carousel is a visual delight, crafted on the beautiful palettes of Neutrogena, highlighting the brand’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and cultural understanding. Neutrogena featured the incredible stories of its people and honoured the members of the team with Asian background.
